Sonic Imaging, Inc. is a Mobile Ultrasound Service. We come to your office on a weekly or biweekly basis depending on volume, and perform quality, state-of-the-art Cardiac, Vascular, and Abdominal Ultrasound Studies that are scheduled by your office at a mutually convenient time. Final report within 48 - 72 hours by Board Certified Radiologists, assures prompt and accurate results.

You can depend upon Sonic Imaging for the same quality of service than if you sent your patients to a outpatient imaging center. Sonic Imaging uses Sonosite ultrasound equipment - the same reliable state-of-the-art technology currently used by the United States Military. Technologists are well trained and credentialed, either nationally certified or eligible in Cardiac, Vascular, and Abdominal/Obstetrics-Gynecology. Studies are read by Florida Radiology Consultants, P. A. (FRC). These board certified radiologists have provided professional reads for Lee Memorial Health System and Southwest Florida for the past thirty years. FRC is committed to providing accurate diagnostic reads and rapid report turnaround.

We make it easy to keep profits from walking out your door.

• Schedule your patients for ultrasound studies at a regular time each week determined to be convenient for you and the technologist. *Note: every effort will be made to accommodate acute studies if the technologist is in the area of your office.
• We provide you with the current diagnostic and CPT codes for assuring and maximizing your reimbursements from Medicare and private insurance companies. Because this information is in a constant state of change, we keep you up-to-date on these changes.
• After the test is scheduled and performed, you bill Medicare or private insurance using the codes provided for the reimbursable allowable amount.
• You pay a nominal technical and professional reading fee and KEEP THE REMAINDER AS YOUR PROFIT.
• The technical fee may be deferred for your initial billing, until after you receive your compensation from Medicare and/or private insurance.
• On average you can expect a Medicare reimbursement of $200.00 per exam (some exams pay more than others but because of our flat fee schedule, the average is approximately $200.00). Reimbursement by private insurance is substantially higher than Medicare. Therefore you can expect much greater profits for the same tests.
• There are absolutely NO HIDDEN EXPENSES. All supplies are provided by Sonic Imaging, Inc. Fees include performance of the exam, preliminary / final report, and transcription / courier charges.

The following example, based on ordering just 10 Echocardiogram Studies per week (Medicare Reimbursement), illustrates how easy it is to generate significant revenues:

• Many physicians order an Echocardiogram as a part of an adult physical exam. This is reimbursable by both Medicare and private insurance companies as 3 separate charges (Echo / Doppler / Color).
  • Medicare Reimbursement is approximately $400. Your technical and reading fees combined are approximately $150. $400 - $150 = $250 net profit.
  • Private Insurance Reimbursement is $1,300 - $150 = $1,150 net profit.
• Because not all studies are reimbursed at the same rate, assume you will average a net of $200 reimbursement per test.
• 10 exams x $200 x 40 weeks (accounting for season and holidays) = $80,000 per year (based on Medicare reimbursement alone). Private insurance reimbursement will take this amount well over 6 Figures!

Every time you order an Ultrasound exam and send YOUR patient to an outpatient imaging center, you are sending their insurance $$$$$ with them!
